Aurora Labs (ASX:A3D) continues to invest in the capabilities required to scale the manufacturing of advanced propulsion systems.
We have now installed our new Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM), further expanding our in-house precision inspection and manufacturing capabilities, with the equipment supplied and installed with support from our partners at Sutton Tools.
The CMM enables high-precision measurement and verification of critical dimensions, tolerances, complex geometries and interfaces against engineering specifications. This provides detailed inspection data to support consistency, repeatability and quality across our manufacturing processes.
This capability complements our AS9100D certification, strengthening the quality systems supporting our work across the aerospace and defence sectors.
The combination of advanced manufacturing, precision inspection and an aerospace quality management system gives Aurora Labs greater control across the manufacturing lifecycle – from engineering and production through to inspection and verification.
For Aurora Labs (ASX:A3D), the CMM represents another step towards building a robust, scalable and quality-focused manufacturing capability to support the production of our advanced propulsion systems.
