Aurora Labs Reports Strong Progress in September 2026 Quarter
Perth, Western Australia – 30 October 2026
Aurora Labs (ASX: A3D) has released its September 2026 Quarterly Activities Report. It marks a period of solid progress as the company moves from technology development into production scale-up.
The report signals progress toward commercial execution and broader scale-up.
Key highlights
Aurora achieved AS9100D certification, the internationally recognised quality standard for aviation, space and defence. The certification satisfies a key supplier qualification requirement for aerospace and defence supply chains.
To support future production volumes, Aurora Labs reports strong progress in September Quarter. This progress included advancing the procurement of a DIDG co-funded industrial metal 3D printer. The printer is expected to be commissioned in early 2027. Aurora will use it to scale production and meet demand.
It also commissioned a new coordinate measuring machine for faster in-house inspection and validation. This investment aims to improve quality control and shorten lead times. Overall, these steps support Aurora Labs in delivering consistent capability upgrades. The company expects benefits across manufacture and customer delivery.
Internationally, Aurora attended the Farnborough International Airshow and MSPO 2026 in Poland, where it joined customer meetings alongside Teaming Agreement partner MBDA.
The quarter also saw a significant increase in enquiries for its AU2 and AU4 turbines, along with requests for evaluation units.
Since quarter-end
Aurora secured its first US purchase order for three AU4 turbojet engines and integration services, underscoring the company’s capability to deliver propulsion solutions for early adopter customers in a competitive market.
At Land Forces 2026 the company showcased its capability to potential buyers and partners, then moved to capital raising efforts, achieving $6 million in new funding, including a strategic investment from Walkinshaw Group Holdings.
Looking ahead
The priority now is conversion and execution. Moving evaluation opportunities into orders is underway.
The transition mirrors our first US engine sale after quarter-end, said CEO Andrew Garth.
